Scottish Government launches new campaign to help parents with ‘small wins’ to make their day easier

Parent Club aims to support and help parents of primary school aged children with ‘small wins’ to make their day easier.

The campaign recognises that parenting can sometimes be tough and that parents experience many challenges and pressures throughout their day – like fussy eating, homework sulks and bedtime battles.

That’s why the Scottish Government has teamed up with parents to share tips and ideas they can fit into their day to keep their kids busy, happy and healthy, whether at home or out and about such as making a meal together or games to play when shopping.

It’s all about getting kids reading, writing and counting as well as eating healthier, making a positive difference to their learning too. From reading to Mum or Dad at bedtime to drawing their favourite film, and counting out the ingredients when making a healthy meal together, there’s plenty of tips that will fit into your daily lives.

Being a parent is no easy job, but with the help of other parents in Scotland and Parent Club, daily life just got a little bit easier.
