Are you looking for something fun but educational to keep your child occupied this Easter Holiday? Why not try The Deputy First Minister’s Easter Holiday Maths Challenge! You can give his quiz a go by clicking here. Primary school pupils should have received them in school, but if you missed it, then hard copies are available in your local library. It has everything from maths questions to getting outdoors and going on a mini-beast scavenger hunt! This can be an activity for the whole family but also allowing your children to practice their maths skills in a fun environment. The Deputy First Minister’s Maths Challenges are part of the Making Maths Count Initiative, which aims to make Scotland more of a maths-positive nation. It also helps to stimulate the Scottish Government’s commitment to promoting parental engagement in learning.

Good Luck!

Workings and solutions will be available after the Easter Holidays.
