Children and Young People’s Commissioner responds to ASL concerns

Tam Baillie, Scotland’s Commissioner for Children and Young People, has written to the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning to raise concerns about the education of children who require additional support for learning (ASL) and how the ASL Act is working in practice. The letter outlines the concerns raised with the Commissioner by parents and organisations from across Scotland, including NPFS, regarding the impacts that cuts in provision are having on the education of their children.
