National Parent Forum of Scotland evidence on the Additional Support For Learning Report to the Education Committee, Scottish Parliament, 15 May 212

On 15 May 2012, the National Parent Forum of Scotland was invited to give evidence on a Scottish Government report on Additional Support
for Learning to the Scottish Parliament’s Education Committee. MSPs asked about the wide variation in statistics from across Scotland
(information is gathered from local authorities on different learning support needs) and the possibility of under-diagnosis in some areas;
they asked about the Additional Support for Learning Act and its relationship to the proposed new Childrren’s Services Bill; and they
