The Scottish Government has recently begun a consultation on developing a safety system for Adventure Activities in Scotland.

The consultation was launched by Shona Robison, the minister for commonwealth games and sport.

Consultation responses can be submitted until 30th March. A series of regional events for stakeholders and those with an interest in adventure activities is being held as follows:

Tuesday 7 February – Atlantic Quay, Glasgow (19:00 – 21:00)

Thursday 16 February – Easterbrook Hall, Dumfries (19:00 – 21:00)

Thursday 1 March – Lochaber High School, Fort William (19:00 – 21:00)

Thursday 15 March – Glenmore Lodge, Aviemore (19:00 – 21:00)
